Smith & Allan Takoba SS 3MX LF+ - Semi Synthetic, Soluble Cutting Oil

Takoba SS 3MX LF is a high oil content semi-synthetic, low foaming, water-mix metalworking fluid. The product has been designed to provide excellent machining capabilities across a wide variety of arduous operations and offers exceptional foam resistance even in soft water areas, improved tool life and surface finish, excellent operator acceptability and extended trouble-free sump life. The product offers excellent residual corrosion protection for both machine and components and resists swarf drag out and cast-iron dust filtration.
Applications
Takoba SS 3MX LF is particularly suited for use with aluminium, cast iron and all grades of steel, on a variety of machining operations including; milling, turning, drilling, deep hole boring, screw cutting, reaming, sawing and grinding. Maximum performance can be achieved at concentrations of up to 12%, however the majority of operations can be carried out with concentrations in the range of 3% - 6% depending on severity.

Takoba SS 3MX is suitable for use in various metal working applications such as milling; drilling; turning; threading and grinding on a wide range of materials with differing machining characteristics including cast iron; high performance nickel steels; aluminium; stainless steel and hard plastics and nylon.
