The business was formed as a small blender of lubricants for the burgeoning automotive and mechanised agricultural sectors.
In those days there was no delivery service and farmers would collect oil while attending Darlington Cattle Mart.
Since then, things have evolved a little and we now operate a thriving e-commerce business alongside supplying & supporting a wide range of industrial customers.
Smith & Allan remains in family ownership, now in its 4th generation. This relationship embodies stability, longevity, and if nothing else, an ability to get along.
