Smith & Allan Raw Linseed Oil

Raw Linseed Oil is a natural wood treatment for use on all types of soft and hardwood timber furniture and sporting equipment such as cricket bats, hard and softwood patio chairs, tables, window boxes and trellis work. It is also useful for softening putty and as a lubricant when French Polishing.

It leaves a matt appearance, raising the grain profile, whilst also protecting against the damaging effects of weathering and prolonged outdoor exposure. Repeat applications will improve the oily feel of the timber preventing the wood from drying out and cracking, but will not affect the natural matt appearance of the bare timber.
