Smith & Allan Indigear WG 460 - Worm Gear Oil

Indigear WG 460 is a non-EP lubricant which has been specially compounded for service in both enclosed worm gear reducers and steam cylinders. Carefully selected base oils are blended with fatty additives to produce a lubricant with high film strength, high flash point and excellent rust and corrosion protection characteristics. This unique formulation delivers excellent performance in diverse, severe applications.
The product is highly adhesive to gear teeth, extending component life and reducing maintenance costs and offers protection to yellow metal gear components from wear and chemical attack.

The product is ideally suited for the lubrication of enclosed worm gear reducers.It may also be used in steam cylinder applications at service steam pressures of 100-150kph (700-1050psi)
